Blockchain has now become an everyday used word in peoples vocabulary, but the real applications and use cases are still being sought after to convince the public that this technology is here to stay and will help them.
One such application which has been published by @LeezaOsipenko in the British Medical Journal, is how it can transform Clinical Trials.
I have always been a firm believer in the underlying technology of the Blockchain, and when Leeza came to me with her ideas to put this technology to use in Clinical Trials, I immediately saw this as something of value, especially after Leeza passionately explained the issues in the clinical trial processes and how these can be overcome and be a good fit with the technology values Blockchain brings.
Leeza spent a long time refining her paper, and it’s no mean feat to have something published in the British Medical Journal, which is one of the most prestigious and authoritative journals in the medical profession. This is such a great accomplishment and I am proud to have played a small part.
I believe that this is a great use case of this technology, and I am looking forward to see how Leeza develops her plans to get real implementations in the Clinical Trials space.
